The National Communication Authority (NCA) has launched Mobile Money services in South Sudan.

The Authority has granted a license to ‘Trinity Technology company’ to operate the money sending service via mobile phone networks across the country.

Addressing journalists at the launch in Juba, Director General of the National Communication Authority – Ladu Wani Kenyi said the financial service will make transactions safer and easier.

The Director of Trinity Technologies, Richard Raja said the mobile money service will operate on both mobile phone networks – Zain and MTN – and will create employment for youth.
