Armed men attack Sawa Express Money Transfer in a day time robbery at Muniki

Armed robbers have this afternoon attacked Sawa Express, a money transfer company located at Munuki, Libya Market junction.

The two attackers armed with AK47 rifle shot two traders at the ever busy junction of Libya Market and got away with unknown amount of money from Sawa Express.

The robbery happened in a broad day light and few metres away from Munuki police station but there was no quick response from the police.

The Police and military soldiers are at the scene investigating the incident.

The two injured traders, a man and woman were ice vendors. They were shot by apparent stray bullets as the robbers were indiscriminately shooting into the market as the got away.

The injured according eye witnesses are in critical condition. They have been rushed to Juba Teaching hospital by the police.
