A suspect who tested positive for Coronavirus has been arrested while on his way to Uganda. The suspect believed to be a truck driver, was arrested at Nimule border crossing after he delivered goods to Juba.

Spokesperson of the High-level taskforce on COVID19, Makur Matur Koriom says he first entered Uganda from Kenya through Malaba border entry point where he was tested and allowed to continue his journey before the result came out.
He explained that he was arrested after an alert from Uganda government.
Dr. Makur described the situation as unfortunate and says they are tracing people who have been in contact with driver while he was in South Sudan.
